Team India lacks direction

Team India lacks direction

The problem with the Indian team is both in approach and mindset. These have obviously led to poor execution. For nearly a month before the series commenced, the talk centered on home advantage and rank turners.
The focus instead should have been on the bigger picture — good and tight cricket. The outlook from the start was negative and as every pundit had predicted, the series has been anything but a cakewalk. The team needs a paradigm shift to get back to winning ways. Accepting the mistakes would be a start.
    All credit to England for
their exemplary conduct and being outstanding in all three departments. The Indians, on the other hand, have looked disoriented. The batting looks lost and the bowling has not been penetrative enough to ring alarm bells in the opposition camp.
    As for the Indian fielding,
the lesser said the better. In short, the team is lacking direction and looks clueless.
Time has come for everyone to own up responsibility and stand up to be counted. It is also time to stop blaming the conditions for every reversal. A good team must perform in all conditions and not lend too much thought on things they have no control over. As Virender Sehwag rightly said, the team must own up to the mistakes and start afresh. 360 CORPORATE RELATIONS
